A month in

The fast four weeks have flown by. Just as expected really when working on an old property, until you start pulling things about you just don't have a clue what your going to find .

Removal of 120 tonnes of soil to lower the garden which was a tad surprising.

To date it's rotten timbers in the walls so they have had to taken down to remove the wood and rebuilt.

the engineer out to site for extra details on padstones and ridge beam for the barn room.

Details on how to stitch the two houses (it was supposed to be just one) can be held together so we can take out one corner and insert a t beam fabrication by Acton engineering.

Plus a door frame what can be inserted in the middle of the house and pattess plates inserted each side to tie the house together.

Not for the faint hearted....
